Service Description
Helpful Hands Doula is currently accepting the following insurances: *Kaiser Southern & Northern CA *Health Net *Molina *TriWest- Estimated 11/2026 CalViva Health (Medi-Cal Only) Cal Optima Within Medi-Cal you are usually have covered services: ~9 visits total + 1 labor delivery. usually broken down: 1-2 Prenatal appointments (Initial 90 mins) 1-labor and birth support (continuous) 6-7 Postpartum Visits (1- 1.5 hours in length) ** 2 extended postpartum visits (3 hours) -Typically included but can verify when exploring coverage ** All visits to be done before your baby turns 1 year old or your benefits will expire.
Cancellation Policy
To change or cancel your appointment please give at least 24hrs- 48hr notice which will allow me to reschedule you. If you are feeling sick or I am feeling under the weather I'd prefer if we cancel your appointment (Not labor and delivery of course) but just a regular appointment so we protect each other and other moms I may be supporting during the same time.
