About Me
Being a mom is the BEST thing in the entire world! My girls and husband are my absolute joy in life and I am so blessed beyond measure. Outside of doing birth work, I love to go camping (especially at the beach), spend time with family and homeschool our girls.
I became passionate about birth from having my first daughter in the height of the COVID 2020. Hospital policies were changing everyday and it was undecided if I could even have my husband with me at the time (thankfully he was able to come). I thank God for amazing nurses during my labor. My 2nd labor was also a bit stressful and involved some birth complications and I was unable to have a doula support me. I experienced some gaps in care and looking back I wish desperately I could have had someone advocating for me. Breastfeeding was overwhelming, and I found an in-person support group which ignited my passion for all things birth and postpartum. I can't wait to support more women on their journey into motherhood.
My nickname growing up was "Helpful Hannah." Most everyone who knows me knows this to be true.
